The Site Fee is $5000. Events begin after the Tasting Room is closed. Events may begin earlier for an additional fee.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the site fee is due at the contract signing. The other half is due thirty days prior to the event, accompanied with a $1500.00 Security Deposit.
Maximum number of guests is 125.
The Lenz Winery has an extensive wine list including a delicious ultra-brut sparkling wine. Any substitution or addition of a non-Lenz wine, must be cleared with the winery. Please note that our farm winery license does not permit the use of any non-New York wine on premise.
At least two representatives of The Lenz Winery will be in attendance on the day of the event at $225.00 per representative. More representatives may be deemed necessary depending on the scope and design of your event.
The Lenz Winery supplies the venue which includes the use of the courtyard, tasting room, vine-enclosed patio area, and the cottage.
The wedding party is responsible for supplying their tent, portable toilets, caterer, band/DJ, party supplies, flowers and anything else they require for their event. The wedding party will also need to coordinate any additional power needs with their caterer and tent supplier. We have a list of approved vendors to guide you through this process.
Southold Town has a noise ordinance that states all outdoor music may not exceed 90 decibels and must end by 10:30pm.
All garbage removal is the responsibility of the Licensee and is typically handled, at your request, by the caterer.
Certificates of insurance naming:
a) The Lenz Winery and
(b) Dorset Farms, Inc as additional insured are required from the Licensees and all vendors coming on the property for $1,000,000.00, $2,000,000.00 in the aggregate.
